Airbnb’s are gaining more appeal from solo travellers
They’re many values when it comes to using Airbnb’s when travelling. In order to see the world, you need money to get yourself around place to place, and on with the next. You need money to eat, drink and sleep.
Hotel costs and fees can easily add up onto your travel bill, whether your staying one or two nights, or whether it’s up to a week or more. These costs can set a limit and hold you back in regards to your travelling experience. Airbnb’s allow people to make the most out of their travelling experience, enabling them to see and explore more.
Opportunities are endless when you start to save a bit more money. Perhaps that extra bit of money in your pocket can take you on a road trip or give you the chance to visit that show you wanted to see. Airbnb works as a website that connects people who have space to share, and for those looking for a place to stay.
Numbers appear to be rising as Airbnb is slowly becoming more popular amongst travellers. The below survey ran by Schofields shows how many people have stayed in Airbnb’s.
The survey showed that:
- 44% have stayed in an Airbnb property
- 18% have stayed in hostels
- 65% have stayed in hotels
- 78% who stayed alone in a hotel had been quoted an extra single person supplement.
- 74% of those staying in an Airbnb property did so to avoid extra charges levied by hotels.
- Hostels appealed to 35% solo travellers because they liked the communal aspect, whereas 29% chose them solely because they were cheaper than other options.
Airbnb’s can cater to you if you’re running out of time. If you’re behind with your planning times and you’re becoming stressed and worried about whether or not you can make it. You won’t have to worry when it comes to using Airbnb’s. With hotels it can’t always be achieved to get yourself a room for last minute.
